you wake up in the morning, roll over and open your laptop to check a few things. your browser is open on facebook. “that’s strange,” you think, “my home page is normally google.” you attempt to type google into your browser. you type facebook. you try tumblr; facebook. hotmail? facebook. no matter the combination of keys you press, you can only seem to access the front page of facebook. time and again, you are faced only with your news feed, only with that small white box asking, pleading, “What’s on your mind, Human?”
maybe you can tell the internet what’s happening. it must be a glitch. you must be tired. yes, that’s it. share your humorous story of how you can only seem to access facebook with the world. you type your thoughts hastily, without looking up, and hit the enter key.
your status reads: “facebookfacebookfacebook facebookfacebook facebook.”
there’s a knock at the door and it is opened. A face appears at the gap (maybe your mum, your housemate). “Would you like a cup of tea?” they say.
“Facebook,” you say, flailing your arms in desperation, “Facebookfacebookfacebook!”
